NORMAL SKIN
You have an
even-textured skin and no skin problems.
Skin Care Routine • No thick,
greasy products.
• No harsh chemical formulas.
OILY SKIN
It comes with a
greasy shine, usually on the T-zone area which comprises of the
forehead, nose and chin. Oily skin is prone to blackheads, spots and
pimples.
Skin Care Routine • Use a good
quality face wash twice a day. No soap.
• Use a facial scrub two or three times a week.
• Use an oil-free moisturizer.
• Do not use harsh products or those that will over dry the skin.
DRY SKIN It tends to feel
tight, especially after shaving or washing; it can peel, flake and look
scaly and tends to looks older due to roughness.
Skin Care Routine • This skin type
needs a good moisturizer.
• Avoid shaving foams and soap.
• Use sun protection of at least factor 15.
• Drink plenty of water (beer and wine don't count!) to prevent
dehydration especially if you work in an air conditioning office.
SENSITIVE SKIN Your skin reacts
to the products you use, it goes red when touched, exposed to heat or to
the sun. Certain foods and scents give you rash and itchy skin.
Skin Care Routine • You need to
avoid anything containing harsh chemicals or a lot of perfume.
• Avoid soap.
• Always try to select products designed for sensitive skin.
• Try to avoid excess exposure to the sun, as much as possible.
COMBINATION SKIN
The oily areas include the centre of your face, the middle of the
forehead, nose and chin. Dry areas are cheeks and sometimes the
forehead.
Skin Care Routine • No harsh
products that will make your face dry.
• No greasy products.
• Use oil-free products on greasy areas of face and moisturize the dry
areas.

SKIN
CARE ROUTINE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES
BASIC SKIN CARE
comprises of CLEANSE,
TONE and
MOISTURISE. Use an appropriate
cleanser as stated above that catered to your skin type. Next an
appropriate toner to balance out your PH value of your skin followed
by a proper moisturiser.

is a must for all skin types even for oily skin.
However for oily skin, an oil-free moisturiser is strongly
encouraged.]
Drink plenty of
water daily to cleanse your body of toxins and free radicals. There
is no adverse effects from excessive drinking .
Sunblock lotion is
a BIG MUST whenever out in the sun as prolong sun-exposure catalyst
the process of skin ageing.
Exercise regularly
such as at least once a week as exercise improves blood circulation
which in turn improves your complexion.
When zits or
pimples appear, squeezing or poking them is a BIG NO NO! Leave it
alone or seek professional help if situation is severe.
Nothing beats a
well-balanced diet, especially one which serves with lots of fruits
and vegetables.
